How do I make changes to my order?

We can facilitate changes to an order till the time the order has not been processed for
stitching or shipped out. Usually with 6 to 8 hours of placing an order, you can reach us at wecare@theyellowdwelling.com with your instructions.

Once the order is shipped, we are unable to make any changes to your order.

I placed an order, what is the order status?

You would have received an order confirmation on whatsapp and mail.

Once the order is dispatched you will get another notification on whatsapp and mail. This usually takes 2 to 4 working days.

In case you have not received these notifications, Please reach out to our customer care team via email: wecare@theyellowdwelling.com  and/or call/whatsapp on +91 96062 46004. Our team will be able to update you on your order status.

Do you take bulk orders?

Why are some of your products out of stock?

We’re sorry you can’t find the product you love! It takes about six months to a year to develop a new collection, and although we have a system in place for anticipating demand, we can never fully predict if an item is going to sell out. While we increase our volumes each year, we’re extremely careful to avoid overstocking and wastage – for a minimal carbon footprint. We also listen closely to the needs and wishes of our customers, and do our best to ensure their favourite items come back in stock as quickly as possible.

How is the gift card delivered? Where do I purchase it?

All gift cards are digital and available on the website. You can purchase them here. Once you purchase a gift card for someone they will receive an email with your message and a gift card code for the amount chosen by you. You will receive a confirmation email once the gift card is emailed to them. No physical gift cards are sent. The receiver can apply the gift code at checkout under the discount code section and the amount will be deducted from their cart amount.

Shipping and Returns

Do you deliver to my location?

Yes, we ship across India. We use renowned third party logistics to ship our products.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes we ship internationally to major cities in US, Australia & Middle East.

How long do you take to deliver?

Standard products are dispatched in 24 to 48 hours from our warehouse. Custom products like custom curtains and blinds take 2 to 5 working days to dispatch.

Delivery time depends on the location, the metro and tier 1 cities takes about 2-4 working days and the Northeast and Tier 2 zones takes about 4-6 working days.

What if I’m not home at the time of delivery?

The courier partner will send you an SMS alert on the day of delivery. If you’re unable to receive the parcel please reach to them or to us to update the instructions to the delivery person. An order is attempted 3 times after which it’s returned back. A returned order is cancelled and refunded. If a customer refuses orders regularly, we reserve the right to cancel orders and request for an in-store pick up only.

Can I return/get refund of the product if I don’t like the color?

We offer a replacement policy in case you do not like the color or design. The product
must be unused and with all tags and labels intact. Please check out our return

As a small business rooted in sustainability, we are mindful of the environmental impact of reverse logistics, such as fuel usage, packaging waste, and carbon emissions. That’s why we kindly encourage you to make informed purchase decisions to help us minimize unnecessary returns and resource wastage.

If you're unsure about a product's design, fabric, or finish, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Our customer care team will be happy to share additional photos, videos, or even fabric swatches (available at a nominal cost) to help you decide.

I have received a defected and/or damaged product, what do I do?

You can reach out to our customer care team via email; wecare@theyellowdwelling.com and/or call +91 96062 46004 with the order details. Please share a photo(s) of the products with the defect as well. We will reach out to you and arrange for a replacement immediately.

Yes, we do. We offer customization in terms of your preferred length, header style (we offer four different header styles) and lining options to provide room darkening effect. Please head to our custom-made tab to explore further.

Yes, we offer Roman Blinds as well. You can explore the blinds here.

Do you provide room darkening curtains?

Yes we provide light block lining options to our cotton & linen curtains. We provide 50%
light block lining or 100% light block lining as a separate layer to help in better light block.
